My thought process for the Mizu was about finding a way to create a shrug that was attractive and hung like a kimono.  It started with a mathematical formula that customized a fit of a very simple design.  I added a bit of colorwork  and really tested the meaning of stitch definition.  It’s important to use a yarn that is fabulous as that’s what you see with stockinette-  the beauty of the yarn.

Initially I knit this with Sublime Cashmerino, trimmed with Mad Tosh.  At TNNA, the Baah peeps asked me if I would knit it from their lovely Aspen yarn and they chose the colors for the sport-weight version below.
